Narrative Environments Studio was founded in 2021 by John deWolf, an accomplished experiential graphic designer who focuses on branding and place-making.

We are located in Atlantic Canada, but the Studio’s work takes us across the country—from coast to coast to coast.

Throughout his 30-year career, multi-disciplinary designer John deWolf has worked in print, exhibition, signage, wayfinding, and interior environments. Among his many skills is designing accessible, inclusive communication systems, particularly for diverse audiences.

Design is not only physical and aesthetic, but also cognitive and experiential. Process, program, system, story, service, and experience are integral to Mr. deWolf's interdisciplinary approach.
