From ski hill to all-season destination

Wentworth Valley Developments

1922 marked the beginning of a vision for winter recreation. 90 years later, the vision lives on as all-season recreation opportunities continue to be developed in Wentworth, Nova Scotia. As part of a multi-year plan to upgrade the facility, a master brand identity was introduced to celebrate 90 years of hospitality.

To enhance its services, Wentworth Valley Developments Ltd. partnered with other regional organizations such as the Wentworth Mountain Bike Association, Wentworth Valley Trails, and others to add to its downhill, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing trails. With a new chairlift in late-2022, mountain bikers and their bikes will have access to the mountain’s summit. As a result, the hill is transforming from a ski hill that is only open during the winter months into an all-season destination. The master brand identity reflects the all-season experiences while feeling welcoming and inclusive to local residents and new audiences.
